President Tinubu commended their well-deserved victories and stressed the weighty responsibility that comes with their positions.

The President also expressed appreciation for the active participation of Senator Abdulaziz Yari, Hon. Idris Wase, and Hon. Aminu Jaji in the National Assembly leadership elections.
He wished them success in their tenure and urged them to maintain the enthusiasm they demonstrated during the contest in fulfilling their duties to their constituents and the nation.
President Tinubu extended his congratulations to all members of the National Assembly, emphasizing that their enrollment into the service of the Nigerian people marked a significant moment.

He emphasized the expectations of Nigerians for lawmakers to enact laws and conduct oversight duties that would enhance government performance and improve the quality of life for citizens.
“In the course of our work together, disagreements may occur. When we disagree, it will not be out of malice, ill-will, and a quest to diminish the institution of National Assembly or any individual member,” President Tinubu assured.
With the people’s aspirations in mind, President Tinubu emphasized the need to address economic burdens and eradicate insecurity.
He called for concerted efforts to foster progress, remove barriers hindering development, and fulfill the promises made during election campaigns.
“Our people look up to us to change the fortune of our country for good and remove all barriers that impede progress. All of these we can make happen with dedication and commitment.
We can only achieve all the good things we promised during our campaigns when we work together in harmony but with respect for our respective prerogatives and in the best interest of our country,” President Tinubu expressed.
