Why PDP senator is listed in our presidential campaign team

The All Progressives Congress, APC, has disclosed the reason a PDP member, senator Chimaroke Nnamani, representing Enugu East Senatorial District was listed as a member of their Presidential Campaign Council, PCC, said he believes in APC.

Reacting to the report of why PDP member was enlisted, the National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Felix Morka, told Channels TV that Tinubu enjoys support beyond the APC and it is not unusual for the “cross-party

According to him, the presidential campaign is not necessarily about party membership, stating that the campaign is about support for an individual’s favourite candidate.

He said, “People who believe in the candidate are very free to work for the candidate that they support.

“Our candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is a candidate that enjoys widespread multi-partisan support.

“The support for our candidate is not limited to APC members only; he enjoys support from others who know him and who trust in his ability to deliver.”
