2023 Census: NPC Interacts With Bloggers, Social Media Influencers

The National Population Commission (NPC) on Saturday convened a workshop for selected bloggers and social media Influencers in Abuja, as part of activities to ensure a hitch-free 2023 Population and Housing Census.

The workshop, conducted in collaboration with the National Orientation Agency (NOA) had participants from the 36 states of the federation, including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

Declaring the workshop open, the commission’s Director of Public Affairs, Dr Ishiaq Alada, said the participants would serve as the NPC ambassadors on social media platforms ahead of the head and housing counts that would run between May 3 and 7.

They were tutored and sensitised on the guidelines and antiques of responding to citizens’ questions and promoting the commission activities.
