Gunmen have kidnapped the All Progressive Congress (APC) chairman Ekiti State, Paul Omotosho.
He was reportedly kidnapped along the Agbado-Imesi-Ekiti road in Gbonyin Local Government Area of the state, Saturday evening.
The party’s publicity Secretary, Segun Dipe, while confirming the incident said, ” Yes, our chairman has been kidnapped this evening, and we are already working with security agencies towards securing his release.”
Police authorities were yet to comment on the incident as at time of filling this report.
The incident occurred few days after the state government banned the hosting of kissing competition. (Blueprint)
