Boy buried alive for stealing N1,000 in Kogi

Apamisede community in Adavi local government area of Kogi state was on Wednesday thrown into confusion as a boy of eight years old was  buried alive for stealing the sum one thousand naira (N1000) belonging to  his mother.

According to eyewitness account, the mother of the boy directed her eldest son of 19 years to punish the boy for stealing the money.

The elder brother in executing the directive of his mother, decided to bury the boy alive until the eagle eyes of good neighbours came to his rescue and exhumed the boy who was still breathing.

The Police Public Relation Officer (PPRO), William Ayah, when contacted, said the boy had been arrested and investigation was ongoing to unravel the cause of the incident. (Blueprint)

  1. This is just like a dream, unimaginable tale that was not even recorded during slavery. The elder brother to that boy has done abomination to the core. The mother in question has a questionable character and needs to be strictly investigated.
