In a moment of pride and celebration, Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED) recently honoured its exceptional graduates during the convocation and prize-giving ceremony.
Among the distinguished achievers, one name stands out Falade Ridhoyat, a dedicated Niqobi and active member of the Muslim Students Society of Nigeria, TASUED branch (MSSN TASUED), has emerged as the best graduating student in the Department of Biological Sciences, Class of ’21, with an impressive CGPA of 4.67/5.0.
Ridhoyat’s journey at TASUED was marked not only by academic excellence but also by her unwavering commitment to her faith and community. As a Muslimah, she gracefully carried the values of modesty and dedication, embodying the spirit of diversity and inclusivity on campus.
Beyond the academic realm, Ridhoyat’s active involvement in MSSN TASUED added a vibrant layer to her university experience. Her leadership and participation within the society showcased her ability to balance academic pursuits with a commitment to series of religious engagements.
MSSN TASUED has always been in fore-front, not only in academic excellence but also in moral, economic and political spheres, especially, the spiritual aspect of growth that brings about sustainable peace and rapid development to the University and its communities.
There are 1,001 Ridhoyat in our midst and many more vibrant brains are upcoming in the near future.
It is pertinent to appreciate the leadership of TASUED for their consistent leadership styles. It is important to extend this gesture of appreciation to our fathers and mothers in TASUED Muslim Community level for giving us an enabling environment to strive and shape souls academically, morally and spiritually in an excellent manner.
Another astonishing moment was when she was called on stage for the State Governor’s congratulatory handshake, via obvious gesture, she humbly evade shaking hands with opposite gender, following the teaching of her religion . Immediately, the Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, acknowledged her dignified dressing and respected her morals by saying “Congratulations Alhaja”.
TASUED Muslim Alumni (TASMA) proudly congratulates Ridhoyat on this remarkable achievement. Her stellar academic performance, coupled with her embodiment of religious and cultural values, serves as an inspiration to fellow students and highlights the diverse talents within the TASUED community.
