Magaji Aribito, Shehu Ibrahim Dies At 110, Fidau Holds Saturday

A community leader in Okelele community of Ilorin East local government area of Kwara State and Magaji Aribito in Okelele, Ilorin, Alh Shehu Ahmad Ibrahim is dead.

The Magaji Aribito died in the early hours of Tuesday at the age of 110. He has since been buried according to Islamic rites.

The janazah prayer was led by Imam Muhammad Sanni Olesin who was supported by other notable Imams in Okelele community.

The janazah prayer was attended by mammoth crowd as relations, friends and associates struggled to pay their last respect to the deceased who was roundly described as God- fearing, honest, mentor, cheerful giver and peacemaker.

The dignitaries that attended Magaji Aribito’s janazah prayer include the Kwara State ‘s commissioner for Solid Mineral Development, Dr Afeez Abolore, Alh AbdulRaheem Olesin, member representing, Ilorin East in the Kwara State House of Assembly, Hajia Fatimoh Arinola Lawal, vice chairperson of Ilorin East local government area, Nafisat AbdulRaheem, Ibagun Ward councilor and Education secretary of Ilorin East local government area, Alh Raufu Asude.

The fidau prayer for the repose of the soul of Magaji Aribito will hold on Saturday at Aribito compound, Okelele, Ilorin at 10am.
