The Alliance For Sustainable Kwara (ASK) has hailed the provisions of the 2025 budget proposals presented to the Kwara State House of Assembly by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq on Friday.
The association described the provisions in the budget as well thought out, praising the governor for allocating more funds to capital expenditure .
“The allocation of 62.1 percent of the budget estimates for capital expenditure is highly commendable. This will ultimately ensure the completion of ongoing projects across the three senatorial districts of the state and the execution of new projects,” the association said in a statement signed by its chairman, Alh Razaq Lawal.
” We are delighted that works, housing, social protection and education got the budget ‘s lion shares,” it added.
The ASK also described the governor ‘s plan to construct 250 Housing Units in the new year as a welcome development.

It praised Governor AbdulRazaq for his firm determination towards turning the state into a model state through the provisions of necessary infrastructure needed to attract investors and tourists to the state.
The association, however, called on the state legislators to expedite action on the passage of the budget to pave the way for prompt and timely execution of the projects highlighted in the budget.
