KWSG Discloses Date For Opening Of Portal For Next Kwapreneur 3.0

The Acting General Manager of the Kwara State Social Investment Programme Abdulquawiy Olododo on Monday disclosed that the online application portal for Kwapreneur 3.0 will go live on August 31, 2022.

The announcement came a few days after the government empowered 100 small businesses owned by young people with N1m grant each to commemorate the International Youth Day (IYD). Kwapreneur 2.0 received commendations from the beneficiaries and various bodies, including the Artisans Congress.

The portal for Kwapreneur 3.0 will be open to receive applications between 31st August 2022 and 21st of September 2022.

Olododo, who received the Balogun Ajikobi Alhaji Isiaka Yusuf Okunrin Jeje and Balogun Alanamu Dr. Usman Atolagbe Abubakar Jos on a courtesy visit in his office, said the Government continues to receive multitude of requests for business support.

Offering support to micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) will help to stimulate the business climate, he added.

“The application process will be available via an online link designed by KWASSIP to ensure that all business owners in Kwara are given the opportunity to benefit from this laudable initiative,” Olododo said.

“I commend His Excellency for his passion to support businesses, especially small scale businesses, to grow and create jobs and wealth for our people. That is a good way of refocusing people’s attention to business and entrepreneurship.

“We want to be known as a state that graduates from being a purely civil service state to one driven by entrepreneurship.”
