Agric researcher urges farmers to use organic fertilizer

Professor Sani Yusuf of the National Agricultural Extension Research and Liaison Services (NAERLS/ABU) Zaria has advised farmers to adopt the use of organic fertilizer in their farms for agricultural development.

He gave the advise at the Farmers Field Day on Tomatoes organiSed by the BPZ-BP Ltd in conjunction with Kaduna State Agricultural Agency (KADA) at Rafin Tabo, Kurmin Kogi in Ikara local government.

He said it was to showcase the performance of the organic product named “Arisetech Soil Conditioner” which is purely natural without chemical use in the farm.

He said with this development, farmers will gain more yield if they return to the organic product in their farming processes.

He also called on the producers of the Arisetech Soil Conditioner to arrange a market for farmers so they will benefit more at the end.

The general manager, Kaduna State Agricultural Development Agency (KADA), Abubakar Bayero, commended the BPZ-BP Ltd for accepting to be in Kaduna and to partner with them.
