The House of Representatives Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for Asa/Ilorin West Federal Constituency in the just concluded general elections,
Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed Ajia, has commiserated with the family of the late music legend,Alhaji Aminuallahi Jaigbade Alao,and entire Ilorin Emirate
Saying that he will be greatly missed in our traditional social settings.
He described the late Dadakuada exponent , the Oba olorin as an exemplary leader, who used his art in the entertainment industry to promote peace and unity among the people.

Ajia personally signed and made available to journalists in Ilorin.
He identified the late musician as a pacesetter, whose contributions remained invaluable in the entertainment industry.
“I send my condolences to the family of Alhaji Aminuallahi Jaigbade Alao and all lovers of his inimitable Dadakuada music worldwide. Alhaji Jaigbade was a legend whose mastery of his genre of music projected the state positively”, the statement quoted Ajia as saying.
He prayed the Almighty Allah to grant the deceased Al-jannah Firdaus and comfort the bereaved family , Ilorin Emirate and entire Kwarans.
Alhaji Jaigbade Alao, who died on Monday at the age of 121, recieved award of honorary doctorate in recognition of his contributions to music and development of society through his songs.
He was turbaned in 1991 as the King of Songs (Oba Olorin) by the late Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Zulu Karnaini Gambari and received an honorary doctorate degree in Music from Kwara State University in 2018.
