The All Progressive Congress (APC) stakeholders in Ibagun Ward , Okelele , Ilorin East Local Government area of Kwara State have assured Governor AbdulRahaman AbdulRazaq of the party’s landslide victory in the forthcoming September local government election .
Presenting the local government vice chairmanship and councillorship candidates of the party from Ibagun ward, Nafisat AbdulRaheem, and AbdulRaheem Olanrewaju to APC stakeholders in the ward, the chairman of APC stakeholders in the ward , AbdulRasaq Adebayo Tuwo highlighted endless list of Governor’s AbdulRazaq’s unprecedented achievements in the area.
They included road infrastructures , interlocking , school , health centre , recruitment of teachers , human capital development , appointment of prominent indigenes of the area into political offices and empowerment of thousands of residents of the area.
He expressed profound gratitude to the Governor , Ambassador Yahaya Seriki , political office holders , elders and all APC stakeholders in the local government and Ibagun ward in particular for blessing the popular choice of the people , AbdulRaheem Olanrewaju as the councillorship candidate and Nafisat AbdluRaheem as the vice chairperson candidate for the September local government election .
The APC chieftain urged youths , women and all stakeholders in the area to remain united and focused, assuring all that Governor AbdulRazaq is committed to his avowed cardinal policy on youth and women empowerment as has been amply demonstrated in all appointments in the last five years .
Nafisat AbdulRaheem , a famous party activist and APC chieftain in Ibagun emerged as the APC vice chairperson candidate from Jagun zone of the ward while AbdluRaheem Olanrewaju from Alawonla zone emerged as the popular councilorship candidate for the War.
Ibagun ward is the largest and most densely populated ward with majority votes in all past elections in Ilorin East local governmen.
