ASK Hails Governor AbdulRazaq's Leadership Style, Pledges Loyalty To Him

A leading pro- democracy pressure group – Alliance For Sustainable Kwara (ASK) has applauded the leadership style of the state governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.

The association expressed delight over the naming of some state infrastructure after notable Kwarans- dead and living, including the Emir of Ilorin, Alh Ibrahim Sulu- Gambari, the late General Tunde Idiagbon, the late Gen. Lasisi Bamigboye, the late Admiral Mohammed Lawal and the late Dr Amuda Aluko, amongst others.

It also rejoiced with the governor on the occasion of his 65th birthday which comes up on Wednesday, 5th February, 2025.

In a communique issued at the end of it monthly meeting, held in Ilorin, the state capital on Tuesday, ASK noted that it took a great leader like Governor AbdulRazaq to recognise the contributions of late and living leaders to the development of the society.

While applauding the governor ‘s simplicity and pragmatic approach to life and governance, the ASK assured him of the continuous support of its members.

It hailed the urban renewal projects in Ilorin, noting that the extensive road networks, modern public facilities, and improved city aesthetics are contributing to a more business-friendly environment, capable of attracting investors to the state.
