Atiku Support Organization Hails Composition of Campaign Team

Kwara state executive of the Atiku Support Organisation (ASO) has hailed the composition of the recently announced Presidential Campaign Council of the party and described it as all-inclusive.

The group disclosed this in a statement signed by its state coordinator Barr. Olusegun Olawoyin and assistant youth leader, Kazeem Adekanye, urged all the leaders of the Party at all levels to double their efforts in ensuring the victory of the Party come, 2023.

The statement reads in part: “we commended the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Wazirin Adamawa, His Excellency, Atiku Abubakar for his political acumen in resolving the issues affecting our party, especially as it bothers on aggrieved members of the party led by Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State.

“Having carefully reviewed the list of the Presidential Campaign Council, it’s all-inclusive, and we urged the leaders of this great Party at all levels to double their efforts in ensuring the victory of the Party come 2023.

“We, therefore congratulate the Chairman and members of the Council, particularly our leaders from Kwara State and charged all the appointees of the PCC to ensure the victory of our party at all levels, bearing in mind their deep knowledge of Nigerian politics.

“We have resolved to further interact with all the Atiku support groups in the state to ensure the  victory of our presidential candidate come 2023.

“We also welcomed the new State Secretary of the Organisation, Mallam Safi Mohammed from Edu LGA, of Kwara State and urged him to bring to bear his wealth of experience to the Organisation”

The group also condemned the prolong feud between the Federal Government and the Academic Staff Union of Nigerian University (ASUU) said it’s unnecessary and urged the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration to resolve the matter out of court in the overall interest of the nation.
