Following last week Friday inauguration of the Executive Caretaker Chairmen of All Progressives Congress, APC, across the 36 States by the National Executive of the Party led by its acting Chairman, Mai Malla Buni.
Hon. Bashir Omolaja Bolarinwa, who is the Chairman Kwara State Caretaker Executive swore-in by Mai Malla Buni was yesterday, Monday inaugurated the party Caretaker Executive Members, from the State to Local Government and Ward Executives.
The Inauguration ceremony, which took place at the Party Secretariat, located at Oni-Kanga Area, G.R.A, Ilorin was conducted by Barrister AbdulFatai Olatunji, amid the jubilation by the party loyalist who graced the event in numbers.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Bolarinwa said “today, we are gathered for this epoch making ceremony to inaugurate the Caretaker Committee of State, Local and Ward levels of our party. APC”
“With the dissolution of the party structure at all levels and eventual constitution and inauguration of States Caretaker Chairmen by the National Caretaker Chairmen on Friday, 11th of December, 2020, we have lost our hitherto divisive personalities and put on a new garb of party men and women whose mantra is to promote party unity and cohesion”
Bolarinwa, who charged the party members against animosity said “This is the time to be forward lookin as we will soon approach another election. We can not afford to do so as a divided house. We can not afford to betray the trust reposed in us by Kwarans in 2019”
He, also urged the members to go out and mobilize for party membership registration and Independent National Electoral Commission , INEC, voters registration coming up next year said “As we prepare for the registration by INEC and revaluation of our membership, I urge us to be aggressive and dogged in our new membership drive, so that it can translate to another electoral victory for our party” he said.
The event was graced by the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Danladi Salihu and other party stalwarts in the state.
