A political group operating under the aegis of ‘Northern Christian Youth Professionals for Tinubu’ on Saturday organized a free medical test for residents of Kwara state.

Speaking on the sideline of the event, Kwara state coordinator of the group, Edward Malomo, said “the initiative is part of our line-up activities to promote our presidential candidate, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu.

“We have qualified medical personnel, carrying out a medical check-up and giving professional advice and recommendation of appropriate drugs.

“As a medically conscious person myself, I am aware that many people are walking corpses because they don’t have the opportunity to see qualified medical personnel or consultant to diagnose them and give professional advice.

“We believe this would go a long way in assisting the beneficiaries to know their health status and be more conscious of what can aid their wellbeing.

“We are doing this to galvanize support for Tinubu/Shettima presidential ambition.

“As a group, we want to correct an insinuation some people are promoting that Northern Christians would not support and vote for Tinubu/Shettima because of Muslim/Muslim ticket of All Progressive Congress (APC)

“Our group, made up of youth and professionals from various fields, with members across the Nineteen Northern states and in sixteen local government areas of Kwara was established to galvanize support for Tinubu because we believe that he is the right man for Nigeria come 2023, a man with a tested and trusted track record”
