Community leaders in Nigeria have been enjoined to imbibe the virtue of kindness and generosity by assisting the needy and the downtrodden in their various places.

Abdulkareem Abdulsalam stated this in a Lecture at the annual Maolud Nabbiy celebration, turbaning and awards presentation to deserving personalities in Jimba Community and beyond presided over by the Imam Jimba of Ilorin, Mallam Faruq Mustapha Jimba.
Sheikh Abdulsalam charged them to also uphold the virtues of humility and selflessness to endear themselves to the people they superintend over and implored the public to embrace the virtue of patience at all times.

A non Executive Director of Nigeria National Petroleum Company Limited ( NNPCL), Doctor Mohammed Ghali Alaaya and three Senior Advisers to the Kwara State Governor that graced the ceremony include the Senior Adviser and Counsellor, Alhaji Saadu Salahu, Special Adviser on Media, Alhaji Bashiru Adigun and the Senior Special Assistant on Religion ( Islam), Alhaji Ibrahim Danmaigoro were amongst the eminent personalities that graced the turbarning of a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress ( APC) in Ilorin West, Chief Kareem Jimoh as Majeobaje Adini of Ologun Jimba Mosque in Ilorin.
The Director of News and Current Affairs at the State Broadcasting Corporation ( Radio Kwara), Hajia Kubura Mashood-Mahmood was also turbaned as Iya-Adini Ile- Jimba
Others awardees included Mallam Abdullateef of Ankuri Printers, Atunesinse Adini, Alhaja Titilayo Pupa Jimba, Alaranse Adini and Alhaji Ibraheem Jimba, Balogun Adini while the Daudu Jimba, Mallam AbdulRahman Sonibare Jimba was also in attendance as the chief host.
