A Kwara-based Islamic cleric, Sheikh Buhari Ibn-Musa Ajikobi, on Saturday said respect for one’s teacher and loyalty is germane for career progression.
The cleric said this while delivering sermon as a guest lecturer at the Maolud Nabbiy organised by Walliyyullahi-Al-Adabiyyah Islamic Foundation in collaboration with the association of Nursery and Primary Schools in Alase’s compound, Abata Asunkere in Alore, Ilorin West LGA of the state.
Extolling the quality of the spiritual leader of Adabiyyah, Fadilat Sheikh Walliyyullahi Ibrahim Abdulkadir Alase, the guest lecturer said “Sheikh Alase was one of the favourite of our Alfa, late Fadhilatus-Saykh Alhaji AbdulRaheem Ameenullahi (Abata Oniwasi Agbaye) described Alase as humble and good character when they were in school.
“We were talking of a man that was extremely loyal to the extent that he was always pleased with someone praying for his Alfa than him.
“All these were what made Sheikh Alase a lovable person among us all when we were in an Islamic school, and this is part of why we still love and respect him till today” the cleric said.
Sheikh Musa, prayed for longevity of life of Sheik Alase, and urged general members of the Waliyyullahi-Al-Adabiyyah foundation to take a clue from their spiritual leader character.
The Accurate News Nigeria reports that the association turbaned Alhaja Fatimoh Eleha as National Amira and bestowed award on Alhaji Bolaji Saadu, Alhaji Sarafadeen Alabelewe, and Alhaji Ganiyu Yusuf.
Other personalities awarded include Sheikh AbdulRaheem Ameenullahi Oniwasi Agbaye, Col. Abdullahi AbdulRaheem Babaita, Arch. Abdulkareem Babaita and Alhaji Bola Usman.
