The Provost of Kwara State College of Nursing & Midwifery, Ilorin. Alhaji Imam Abubakar Ayinla on behalf of the Governing council, management, staff, students and the entire members of the college community felicitate with Dr. Afeez Alabi Abolore, the new commissioner for Tertiary Education in the state.
Alhaji Imam Abubakar Ayinla who doubles as the acting chairman of Committee of Heads of State Owned Tertiary Institution (COHEST) noted that the hardwork, consistence and trustworthiness of the new appointee made the appointment possible and a pride to all those that make it happen.
“ Congratulations on your new appointment Sir. I believe it will be a spring board to greater heights in your career and political calling”.
The College administrator urged the new commissioner to take the issue of education reform in the state very seriously so that he will actualize the dreams of Mr. Governor adding that education is the key factor in shaping any responsible society, “A large percentage of those who work for health related institutions are the Nurses and the Midwives, hence our college is in the fore front of providing basic and essential education in this professionalized sector”.
Alhaji Imam Abubakar Ayinla, known for his hardwork and discipline assured Dr. Afeez AlabiAbolore that his college is well positioned to deliver on its mandate of producing health personnel for better performance and the college will continue to serve as an example to other professional college(s) in the state, and in the nation.
The Provost prayed that Almighty Allah will grant Dr. Afeez Alabi Abolore the required good health, wisdom and better understanding in piloting the affairs of the ministry and all related agencies that he will superintend and take tertiary education to a commendable heights in the State of Harmony, Imam Abubakar Ayinla concluded.
