Constituents Laud Ajia over Empowerment Programmes

The people of Magaji Ngeri Constituency have lauded the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) House of Representative’s candidate for Asa/Ilorin-West Federal Constituency, Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed Ajia for his giant strides towards improving the lives of the people.

Addressing the gathering at Ajia’s Empowerment Presentation programme in Sani-okin area of Ilorin, the Kwara State capital, the Chairman of Magaji Ngeri Youth Constituency, Hon. Kamaldeen Muhammed noted that Ajia’s empowerment programme is an annual event to support various artisans, youths and women to set up businesses and expand the existing ones.

According to him, “The beneficiaries were painstakingly selected from the five wards under Magaji Ngeri Constituency namely: Baboko, Badari, Oko-erin, Wara Osin- Egbejila and Magaji Ngeri ward of Ilorin West Local Government Area.

The former Youth Leader commended Hon. Ibrahim Ajia for being a responsive leader and for his commitment towards making life better and meaningful for the downtrodden through various interventions embarked upon by his Foundation.

Earlier, Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed Ajia while presenting the empowerment items to the beneficiaries, he encouraged them to make good use of the items as he further assured constituents of his continuous support.

The House of Reps candidate said his priority is to create jobs for the teeming youth population, facilitate life-changing empowerment for women and create an enabling environment for businesses to thrive in the constituency he is going to represent Asa/Ilorin Federal Constituency and Kwara State in general.

Ajia pointed-out that the APC administration both at the state and National level has continued to inflict pains on the masses and making life unbearable for the common man given their government’s policy and insensitive to the plights of the downtrodden.

Ajia however calls for peaceful conduct before, during and after elections as unlawful acts won’t be tolerated from any quarters, he added that anyone founds wanting will be made to face the wrath of the law.

He enjoined Kwarans and Nigerians to be steadfast in their resolutions and supports for the PDP as he assured them of the PDP’s readiness to make life more meaningful for the people and put the country on the path of growth and prosperity as well as to make Nigeria work again.

The beneficiaries of the good gesture of PDP Reps candidate promised to make good use of the opportunities that come their ways. According to Mrs Iyabo Tunde, “I cannot thank Alhaji Ibrahim Ajia enough because this came to me as a surprise, I promise to make good use of the cash given to me, it will go a long way to support the little business am doing and I will be able to support my family.”

She prayed Almighty Allah to answer Ajia’s prayers as well as the one all of us is making for him by making him to emerge victoriously at the poll in order to represent us effectively at the House of Representatives in Abuja.

According to her, “Ajia has being a blessing not only to the people of Mogaji-Ngeri alone but to Kwarans and Nigerians in general.

Present at the occasion are: the Chairman, Mogaji-Ngeri PDP Elders Constituency, Alhaji Nuhu Magaji, former Commisssioner for Youth and Sport Development, Hon. Kale Ayo, Hajia Monsurat Peace, the PDP Chairman for Ilorin-West, Alhaji Issa Abdulkadir, the Coordinator, Ajia Campaign Organisation for Ilorin-West, Alhaji Ameenullahi Akota, women and youth leaders from Oko-Erin, Badari, Mogaji-Ngeri among other party faithful.
