Dele Odule Features In Politics, Joins PDP

Renowned veteran Actor and former President of Theater Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners of Nigeria, TAMPAN, Mr Dele Odule has joined the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Ogun State.

Mr Odule who publicly declared his involvement in politics and preference for the party at a function in Ijebu Ode was warmly received by the state PDP Chairman, Chief Sikirulai Ogundele and the party’s governorship candidate, Chief Oladipupo Adebutu among other party stalwarts.

The State Chairman of PDP, Chief Ogundele while welcoming the Ace Actor to the party expressed optimism that his coming into the party would help in boosting the chances of the party in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.

The Prominent Nigerian Actor was later presented with the flag of the party after which he commended the PDP Governorship candidate, Chief Adebutu for his commitment to the development of the entertainment industry as a member of the House of Representatives, during the 8th National Assembly.

When contacted by Radio Nigeria, Mr Odule who confirmed his membership status with the party said his decision to join the PDP was based on the conviction that the PDP was capable of bringing succor and prosperity to the people of Ogun State.(FRCN)
