Oyo State acting governor, Chief Bayo Lawal has called on the management of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, ((LAUTECH), Ogbomoso to dissociate itself from the ongoing strike action initiated by the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU for the betterment of the students.

He made the call during the stakeholders engagement forum on 2023 budget held at the International Conference Centre of the University of Ibadan.

He noted that the current administration has settled all necessary obligations.

Noting that “the ongoing industrial action has affected the economy, the government has met 200 Million naira demand of the institution and as result, skeletal services would not be condoned” the acting governor said.
