Don Jazzy has announced Bayanni as Mavin Record’s latest signing alongside a debut EP, ‘Bayanni EP’.
The new Mavin signee was announced across all platforms via Don Jazzy’s social media handles on August 23, 2022.
The new addition is a product of the Mavin academy, hence, the idea behind the unveiling video which featured skit makers Sabinus and Brain Jotter, demonstrating a lab experiment of something being concocted.
Bayanni, formerly known to fans as Zheno Boy, first saw fame when he covered Davido’s ‘Jowo’. Fans expected the DMW boss to sign the lad himself so reactions trailed when Davido took to social media to congratulate Don Jazzy and Bayanni on the signing.
This makes the second signee to the music label, Mavin, Boy Spice was signed April 14,2022.
Other young talents talented in the Mavin Roaster include, Rema, Johnny Drille, Ayra Starr, Ladipoe and others.
