The House of Representatives Aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Ekiti/Irepodun/Isin/Oke-Ero Federal Constituency, Barrister Yunus Abdulkareem, has called on the eligible voters in Kwara State to troop out in large number on Saturday and cast their ballots for Presidential and National Assembly candidates of the ruling party in the elections.
He described the current cash crunch and hike in fuel price as a phase that would pass with time.
Abdulkareem, who is popularly referred to as Jagunlabi, said this in a statement made Journalists in Ilorin.
He identified APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the most qualified to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari and sustain the legacy of the government.
He urged the voters not to allow the current situation in the country to dampen their morale, which would ultimately wane their support for the APC.
Jagunlabi noted that Kwaran electorate wields enormous power to determine the fate of candidates in the polls, admonishing them to consolidate on the freedom they enjoyed in the last few years with APC-led administration.
Acknowledging that the incumbent member representing Ekiti/Irepodun/Isin/Oke-Ero Federal Constituency, Hon Raheem Olawuyi known as Ajulo-Opin had performed creditably, the lawyer-cum politician urged the people of the Constituency to consolidate on the gains with their votes for the House of Representatives member, who is seeking re-election on the platform of the APC.
The House of Representatives Aspirant of the APC also advised voters to be peaceful and orderly while exercising their franchise at the Saturday’s polls.
