Elesie, indigenes applaud Gov AbdulRazaq over media chief’s appointment

The Governor of Kwara State, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has been commended for reappointing Mr. Yomi Clement Adeboye as the General Manager of Kwara State Printing and Publishing Corporation (Publishers of The Herald titles).

The commendations came from the Elesie of Esie, Oba Yakubu Babalola Egunjobi II and the umbrella body for all sons and daughters of Esie ‘Omo Ibile Esie’.

Adeboye’s reappointment was made public by the Governor through his Chief Press Secretary Rafiu Ajakaye on Thursday in Ilorin.

Oba Babalola described Adeboye’s reappointment as a further demonstration of Governor AbdulRazaq’s love for Esie and its people as well as his belief in citizens with skills and talents.

The monarch recalled that earlier in his first term the Governor had visited Esie and ensured the construction of Esie National Museum Road, after several years of neglect.

He appealed to the Governor to remember Esie in the allocation and delivery of more dividends of democracy during his second term in office.

Similarly, the Omo Ibile Esie praised Governor AbdulRazaq for retaining confidence in Adeboye’s capabilities and resourcefulness.

It’s President. Mr. Ololade Oyeyipo expressed optimism that with the full support of the Governor, Adeboye will sustain and surpass his record of professionalism in the performance of his duties.

He urged the Governor to consider more indigenes of Esie for appointment into positions of responsibility in the State.

Oba Babalola and Oyeyipo urged Adeboye to continue to make his hometown and Kwara State proud at all times.
