Engr. Sunday Babalola, through the Kwara Citizenship Development Initiative (KCDI), has started the distribution of food palliative to 2,000 households in Kwara State.
The distribution, which began on Monday, March 17, 2025, prioritized Persons with Disabilities (PWD), with the first group being led by Madam Jibore Joy.
In her remarks, she expressed heartfelt appreciation to Engr. Babalola for his support, highlighting his commitment to embracing diversity and promoting equal opportunities for PWDs. She emphasized that his efforts are a shining example of inclusivity.
Market men and women, led by Iyaloja General, Hajia Muyibat Olumo, also thanked Engr. Babalola for bringing relief to them during the holy months of Ramadan and Lent.
They expressed deep gratitude for the timely support.
The Coordinator of Abiyamo Tooto, a group of students from Asalatu and Church communities, also shared their thanks to the KCDI Founder. They prayed for him, asking the Almighty to reward him abundantly. They also encouraged others to follow his example, believing that if more people adopt such charitable practices, the community will thrive in both times of prosperity and difficulty.
