Excitement As Hon. Arinola Lawal Provides Motorized Boreholes For 6 Communities In Kwara

    The commencement of the drilling of six motorized boreholes for selected communities by the member representing Ilorin East local government constituency in the Kwara State House of Assembly, Hajia Fatimoh Arinola Lawal, was received with a lot of excitement by people of the communities.

    The benefitting communities are Moya village in Maya/Ile-Apa ward, Kure/Jabi community in Marafa/Pepele ward, Zango community in Oke-Oyi ward, Ajiode Mosque, Okelele in Ibagun ward, Sango/ Gurumoh area in Sango ward and Karumo communityin Gambari ward 2 .

    Residents of the benefitting communities who spoke with newsmen on the desirable development praised the lawmaker for providing succour for them in the area of water supply.

    A resident of Oke- Oyi, Alhaja Aminat who said they had to travel long distance to draw water, especially during the dry season thanked Hajia Arinola Lawal for her kind gesture.

    Another resident, Mrs Fatimoh Ibrahim expressed delight about the relief the water project would bring to their lives.

    “This motorized borehole will ease the stress of obtaining potable water and make life more comfortable for us and our family members,” she enthused .

    The donor, Hajia Fatimoh Arinola Lawal said she embarked on the water project to ensure that her constituents both within the rural and urban communities have access to potable water for their domestic use.

    ” This initiative is aimed at providing a sustainable supply of potable water to my constituents within the rural and urban communities, particularly during the dry season,” the lawmaker stated.

    She urged residents to take ownership of the projects by safeguarding them against vandalism and theft.
