Father allegedly defiles 17-year-old daughter In Ogun

Police in Ogun State have arrested 46- year- old Olusegun Oluwole for defiling his 17 -year- old daughter.

Operatives of the Ogun State security outfit ‘So Safe Corps’, arrested the suspect who live in Amolaso area of Abeokuta, the state capital, and handed him over to the Police.

The suspect was said to have grabbed his daughter around 11:30 pm and raped her.

He allegedly threatened to kill her if she refused to allow him.

Ogun Police spokesman Abimbola Oyeyemi made this known on Sunday in a statement.

Oyeyemi, a Superintendent of Police (SP) stated that the Divisional Police Officer, Ibara division, Bernard Egbondiya, detailed detectives to treat the case.

The police spokesperson added that the father of six confessed to the crime and pleaded for forgiveness, claiming not knowing what came over him when he made love to his daughter.

The Commissioner of Police, Lanre Bankole ordered the transfer of the suspect to state Criminal investigation Departments for further investigation and possible prosecution, while the victim was taken to general hospital for treatment.(Nation)
