In a bold move to address Nigeria’s growing housing deficit and support the federal government’s drive for affordable and efficient homeownership, ‘Home on demand’, a pioneering PropTech housing innovation platform, has unveiled plans to recruit over 500 certified builders and developers across the country.
The initiative, described as Africa’s most ambitious housing transformation movement, seeks to establish a transparent, technology-driven construction ecosystem that connects
design, development, and delivery in one seamless process, setting a new benchmark for the real estate industry across the continent.
Speaking during a media briefing, the Chief Executive Officer of Homes on
Demand, Mallam Bashir Ademola Yusuf, described the project as a revolutionary intervention designed to redefine how homes are built, delivered, and experienced in Africa.
“This idea was born out of a desire to make homeownership simpler, smarter, and more transparent,” Mallam Bashir said.
“We are not just building houses; we are building a new way of life, one where technology and trust become the foundation of every home.
“A New Era for Housing Delivery, Homes on Demand integrates design, development, and delivery through a digital platform that allows clients to order, customize, and monitor their dream homes from anywhere in the world.
“Each stage, from concept to completion, is powered by its SmartSite Dashboard and Construction Playbook, ensuring real-time transparency, speed, and accountability between all stakeholders, including architects, developers, builders, and suppliers.
“The system is built to eliminate the long-standing challenges of delay, distrust, and disconnection that have plagued traditional housing delivery systems in Nigeria and many parts of Africa.
“Beginning from November 10, 2025, we will will open our nationwide builder network, onboarding hundreds of certified developers and construction professionals who will deliver future projects through our digital ecosystem.
The company clarified that these professionals are not employees but strategic partners who will receive project allocations directly through the Homes on Demand system, working under a unified standard for quality and integrity. Participating builders and developers will gain access to: Guaranteed Project Allocations through the Homes on Demand™ platform. SmartSite Digital Dashboard for managing projects, payments, and progress. National Recognition in the Homes on Demand™ Builder Directory.
“Training & Certification through the Construction Playbook Masterclass.
Ethical Construction Framework that protects fairness and professionalism in all transactions.
“This is not just recruitment, Mallam Bashir emphasized. It’s a partnership movement, a chance for Nigerian builders and developers to stand at the
frontline of Africa’s next housing revolution.
“Building Impact, Not Just Houses
Every home delivered under the Homes on Demand™ framework supports local job creation, sustainable building practices, and financial inclusion through digital
transparency and traceable payment systems.
“The initiative is expected to stimulate the housing economy, expand professional opportunities for local builders, and inspire a new culture of ethical construction across the continent.
“This movement is about rewriting Africa’s housing story, where excellence is the standard and integrity is non-negotiable,” Mallam Bashir added.
He however urged the interested licensed builders, developers, and construction firms ready to lead the change to join pre-register for early access at: https://homes-ondemand.com/builders-recruitment said those who sign up before the official launch on November 10, 2025, will receive priority
