Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has vowed to spearhead a united opposition coalition to challenge President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 general elections, while firmly denying rumours of his defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

This was made known in a statement released on Saturday by his media office, Atiku dismissed the speculation as “a total fallacy that holds no merit in logic,” reaffirming his unwavering commitment to the PDP.
