Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq at the weekend hailed Senator Ibrahim Yahaya Oloriegbe, representing kwara central senatorial district for what he described as impactful representation in the lives of his constituents.
Gov AbdulRahman made the comment during the distribution of the empowerment materials facilitated by the Senator to the people of his constituency as part of his 2021 zonal intervention project, held at the open field of Lower Niger River Basin Development Authority, Ilorin.
Gov AbdulRahman who applauded Senator Oloriegbe for facilitating Neuropsychiatric Hospital to the state among many other poverty alleviation empowerment schemes, said APC government would continue to deliver good governance to the people of the state.
Speaking, Senator Oloriegbe, who appealed to the party’s members on loyalty to the authority, said all the newly elected party executives from Ward, Local and State must be given needed support to succeed, disclosed that party’s hierarchy is making move to reconcile all the aggrieved members.
He also cautioned the electorate not be deceived with the antics of the opposition in preparatory to the 2023 election, saying that Leopard would never change its spots.
He, however enjoined the beneficiaries of the empowerment materials to use them to uplift their economy wellbeing, said, “We discovered that a lot of people went out to learn skills but it took them years to get the tools to use because of level of poverty. Instead of giving them money, the tools we have distributed would enable them to be on their own”
Expressing appreciation on behalf of the beneficiaries of the materials, the chairman, artisans association in the state, Alhaji Adeshina, applauded Governor AbdulRahman and Senator Oloriegbe for making positive impact in the lives of his members through their various empowerment scheme.

Here we are again for another empowerment scheme. We are grateful”
Items distributed include dozens of deep freezers, sewing machines, hair dryers and accessories, motorcycles, and grinding machines among others.
