Gov AbdulRazaq Nominates Ex-Commissioners, 2 Other for Fresh Appointment

Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has forwarded the names of five new commissioner-nominees to the State House of Assembly for approval.

According to the statement signed by the chief press secretary to the governor, Rafiu Ajakaye read “The nominees are; Ibrahim Akaje (Ilorin West) Adenike Afolabi-Oshatimehin (Ifelodun); and Wahab Femi Agbaje (Offa).

“The two other nominees are Gidado Lateef Alakawa (Asa) and former House of Representatives aspirant Dr Afeez Abolore Alabi (Ilorin East)

“The nominees’ names and profiles have been sent to the House of Assembly for legislative screening and approval”

We could recall that Akaje, Adenike, Agbaje and Alakawa were cabinet members before their resignation to contest the party primaries election in an attempt to further seek the elective positions.
