A group, operating under the aegis of Community Development Council (CDC) has commended Kwara state government led by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for its proactiveness to security of lives and properties in the state.
The group in its press statement made available to this medium said “Our State will get rid of criminal elements only when we cooperate with security agents by offering useful information that can lead to the arrest of these undesired people in our communities”
“Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has shown that though the criminals may run, there is no hiding place for them in Kwara State”
“This proactive approach of the Governor to security matters in the State aligns with our position, the more reason we call on well meaning Kwarans to support his efforts at stamping all forms of crime out of the State”
“We are aware that, about two weeks ago, the government of Kwara State established a joint military patrol around the Kwara South corridor where the kidnappers were running riot. The effort is not only yielding results but strengthening confidence building amongst locals and residents in our various communities”
“It therefore behoves patriotic Kwarans to expose criminals in their communities and neighborhoods as the military are combing our hinterlands day and night” the group said.
