Gunmen kill 11, injure 8 in Plateau attack

Gunmen have killed 11 persons and injured another 8 in a late -night attak on Maikatako community in Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau State.

The gunmen who also burnt down four houses during the attack, overwhelmed the vigilante group on patrol.

Nine of the victims were said to have been burnt beyond recognition in a compound that was razed while the others were found earlier this morning around the bushes.

The Plateau State Police Spokesman, DSP Alfred Alabo, confirmed on the community. (FRCN)
