Colombian singer, Shakira, has revealed how she once pleaded with a pilot to land a plane she was flying on just to kiss her former lover, Gerard Pique.
The singer disclosed this on Saturday while speaking about their relationship via AS Tikitakas.
Recall that Shakira had a long-term relationship with Pique in the past.
The duo dated for over a decade before parting ways in 2022.
According to her, stopping the plane to kiss Gerard was the most romantic thing she had ever done in her entire life.
Recounting her relationship with the Barcelona legend, the singer said: “I remember flying from Marrakech to Croatia. We were flying over Barcelona and I asked the pilot of the plane if he could land briefly just to give Gerard a kiss.
“It’s the most romantic thing I’ve ever done in my life. I don’t know if the Tax Agency will have computed it as one day in Spain.”
After breaking up with Gerard, Shakira started a new life when she moved to Miami, United States, along with their kids, Milan and Sasha.
