Ibagun Community Holds Prayer For Ex- Special Adviser On Strategy, Salahu

The people of Okelele community in Ibagun ward, Ilorin East local government area, on Sunday, organised a special prayer for the immediate past Special Adviser on Strategy to Kwara State governor, Alh Saadu Salahu.

The special prayer session, held at Salahu’s residence at Ayegbami, Alagbado area, Ilorin, was at the instance of Ibagun Progressive Union (IPU).

The prayer was led by Alh Abdullahi Imam Olooto and Alh AbdulBaki Mohammed Imam Odegbangba.

They prayed Allah to reward Salahu with a more plumb appointment in the new dispensation as a compensation for his kindness to his people and support for the Ibagun community.

The cleric also prayed for the successful reign of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq in his second term of office and as the chairman of Nigeria’s Governors Forum (NGF).

They thanked the governor for the confidence he reposed in the ability and capability of Salahu which culminated in his appointments, first as special adviser on Political Matters and later as Special Adviser on Strategy.

In his remarks, the chairman of IPU, Alh Kuranga Omomeji Morogun, thanked the former special adviser on Strategy for been a good ambassador of Okelele/ Ibagun community while serving as a member of the state executive council.

He said the community is very proud of Salahu and his achievements while he was in the office, enumerating his numerous interventions that brought relief to the people of Okelele/ Ibagun community.

Also, speaking, IPU’s coordinator, Barr. Rauf Ajao, corroborated Morogun and eulogised Salahu for his humility, sacrifice and devotion to not only the community service, but the state and humanity.
