Kwara State governor, AbdulRahaman AbdulRazaq has made many landslide achievements that are new to governance in the state.
This was the declaration of the people of Idigaba- weere, Harmony Estate, Akerebiata in Ibagun ward of Ilorin East local government area.
The people who were impressed by the superlative performance of Governor AbdulRazaq in the last three and six months bared their minds during a special prayer and unveiling of the All Progressives Congress (APC) billboards in the area on Sunday.
The twin- event was graced by the governor’s special adviser on Strategy, Alh Saadu Salahu, special assistant on Religious (Islam), Alh Ibrahim Danmaigoro, APC state women leader, Alhaja Falilat Mohammed, Kwara Central Senatorial chairman, Alh. Memudu Turawa , APC stakeholders and other prominent politicians.
The prayer session was led by Sheikh AbdulBaki Imam Odegbangba who prayed for the success of Governor AbdulRazaq and all APC candidates during the 2023 general elections.
Reverend Adebayo Olaolu who spoke on behalf of the APC members in Idigaba-wee, Harmony Estate, assured the governor of their full support for his second term bid.
Olaolu added:” Your Excellency, you are working, you are making mark; the reality is that Governor AbdulRahaman AbdulRazaq has made and still making many landslide achievements new to governance in Kwara.
” In recognition of the governor’s giant strides across all sectors, we want the legacy to continue in Kwara. We shall therefore aggressively campaign and vote for Governor AbdulRazaq for second term and as well vote for all APC candidates during the 2023 general elections.”
While acknowledging the positive impacts of the AbdulRazaq’s administration in the area, Olaolu however, drew the attention of the governor to certain needs of the community.
For his part, the special adviser on Strategy, Alh Saadudeen Salahudeen described Governor AbdulRazaq as ‘ Atunluse’ said the governor’s simplicity is uncommon.
” His Excellency has demystified governance. He has restored the lost glory of the civil servants. Unlike the sickening era of the past administration where all sectors were at comatose Governor AbdulRazaq has recorded a very giant strides in all sectors such as education, health, youths and women empowerment and poverty alleviation,” Salahu added.
The special assistant on religion (Islam), Alh Ibrahim Danmaigoro intimated the gathering with some of the achievements of Governor Abdulrazaq, including prompt payment of workers salaries at both the state and local government levels, payment of minimum wage, regular promotion of civil servants with cash backing and infrastructural development across the 16 local government areas of the state
