Jagunlabi: Inspiring Unity and Generosity in Omu-Aran Community

Barrister Abiola Abdulkareem popularly known as Jagunlabi is now becoming an household name in Ekiti, Isin, Irepodun and Oke-Ero Federal Constituency of Kwara especially for his generosity.

Jagunlabi was a man known for his generous spirit and commitment to community development.

On Saturday, Dec. 30, Jagunlabi got wind of the upcoming Ọdún Omu-Aran Festival, an annual event that celebrated the rich cultural heritage of the Omu-Aran community in Kwara State, Nigeria.

Jagunlabi who is a special adviser, civil service affairs to the Honourable Minister of Art, Culture and Creative Economy, contested the House of Reps primary election of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti, Isin, Irepodun and Oke-ero Federal Constituency of Kwara in 2022.

Recognizing the importance of this festival as a unifying platform for the people, Jagunlabi decided to attend.

His presence in company of Rt.Hon.Tunji Olawuyi Ajuloopin, member representing Ekiti, Isin, Irepodun and Oke-Ero Federal Constituency of Kwara would not only show his admiration for their traditions but also serve as an opportunity to contribute to the betterment of the community.

With a desire to make a lasting impact, he generously donated one million naira to support various development projects in Omu-Aran.

During his time at the festival, Jagunlabi appealed to all individuals who held influence and affluence to contribute to the progress of their communities.

He passionately advocated that meaningful individuals should come forward and actively participate in initiatives that advance education, healthcare, infrastructure, and the overall well-being of society.
