A former governorship aspirant on the platform of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Kwara State, Alhaji Tajudeen Audu, has dumped the party for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Makama, who recently went all out in support of the Asiwaju/Shetima presidential ticket, made this known while addressing his political supporters on Monday in appreciation of the massive vote cast for the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and their peaceful conduct during the last elections.
According to him “After due consultations within and across the party lines, it is time to put Kwara interest above personal and support the performing APC government in the state led by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
“I urge you all as a political family to go out and canvas for a vote for the re-election of our performing Governor and all APC candidates in the coming Saturday election.
“Let me also appeal to all Kwarans to vote massively for AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, just the way you did for Asiwaju”.
The politician also appeals for a peaceful poll saying peaceful co-existence and service to humanity should always be paramount.
