Kaduna govt confirms kidnap of 10 students

The Kaduna State Government has confirmed the kidnap of ten students of Government Secondary School, Awon on Monday.

The State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Mr Samuel Aruwan, in a statement on Tuesday said the Government had received preliminary reports from security agencies regarding the kidnap of the students.

He said detailed reports are being awaited including clarification whether the incident occurred within the school premises or elsewhere.

The commissioner vowed to make it public as soon as more details are received about the incident.
