Katsina, Abia governors appoints media aides, SSG, others

Barely few hours after their inauguration duo of Governor Dikko Umaru Radda and Alex Otti of Katsina and Abia States has announced their first appointments.

In a statement personally signed by Governor Dikko, he announced the appointment of Architect Ahmed Musa Dangiwa as the Secretary to the Government of the State, while Alhaji Jabiru Tsauri becomes the Chief of Staff, Barr. Muhtar Aliyu Saulawa is the Deputy Chief of Staff, Alhaji Abdullahi Aliyu Turaji as Principal Private Secretary to the Governor.

Other appointments approved by Governor Radda are Mallam Maiwada Danmallam Director General Media, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed Chief Press Secretary, Malam Miqdad Isah as Senior Special Assistant (Digital Media) and Abubakar Badaru Jikamshi becomes the Senior Special Assistant ( Print and Electronic Media).

Alhaji Bishir Maikano is the Senior Special Assistant (Protocol) Deputy Governor’s Office.

Other appointments are Alhaji Hassan Ibrahim Danhaire as Senior Special Assistant (Special Duties) Deputy Governor’s Office and Ahmed Rabiu as Official Photographer to the Governor.

The Governor congratulated the new appointees and urged them to join hands with him in turning around fortunes of the State.

Also Governor, Dr. Alex Otti of Abia State has also approved the appointment of Prof. Kenneth Kalu as the new Secretary to the State Government, (SSG), while Pastor Caleb Ajagba, was appointed Chief of Staff to the Governor.

Others include Mr. Kazie Ukoh as his Chief Press Secretary and Mrs. Njum Onyemenam as the state Accountant General.

Dr. Ngozi Okoronkwo is the Special Adviser on Health Care Delivery Services, Mr. Ferdinand Ekeoma as his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity while Mr. Ogbonnia Okereke would take over as the Head, Special Task Force on Emergency Cleanup of Aba & Umuahia.

According to the late night release by Ferdinand Ekeoma, the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, the appointments take immediate effect. 

Until this appointment, the new CPS, Kazie Ukoh was a staff of Daily Times, Nigeria.
