Kwara 2023: Haruna Likpata Joins National Assembly Race

A Kwara born philanthropist, Hon. Haruna Mohammed Likpata, has today formally submitted his letter of intent to contest for House of representatives for Edu/Moro/Patigi Federal constituency on the platform of the People Democratic Party (PDP)

Hon. Likpata, who is a founder and financial of ‘Haruna Likpata Foundation’ in the letter of intention submitted to his political ward chairman today during general meeting at Lafiagi Ward IV in Edu Local Government Area of Kwara State.

During the ward meeting, he said; as a flagbearer for State House of Assembly in 2019 general elections, I am emboldened by the encouragement I have received by our party faithfuls across the constituents to contest for House of representatives in this upcoming 2023 elections.

I shall support the party’s practical and principled leadership, distinguished by courage, vision, and integrity and advancement of my constituents, State and the Nation generally.

I solicit your support for the office of House of representatives for Edu/Moro/Patigi Federal constituency because of my conviction that it requires an able and experienced hand to represent the good people of Edu/Moro/Patigi Federal constituency in moving the constituents to a lofty heights.

He said his decision to contest for Edu/Moro/Patigi Federal constituency in 2023 election came after consultation with leaders and major stakeholders of the party and beyond.
