Kwara APC Stalwarts Honour Katibi At Daughter's Wedding

Chieftains of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State, on Saturday graced the Walimatul Qur’an and wedding of Rabiat Arinola , daughter of the secretary of the APC Elders Forum, Hon. AbdulMumin Katibi.

Those in attendance at the colour event included Chief Wole Oke, Alh Abubakar Ndakene, Alh Mohammed Ahmed, Hon. Al- Hassan Bagudu and chairman, Kwar Television Service, Alh Hameed Adio.

Others are Engr Layi Ayinde, Barr. Teju Oguntoye, a commisssioner at TESCOM, Alh Kobe, Asiwaju of Share, Alh M.T Lawal and Alh Ilyasu AbdulRahman Iponrin.

The chairman of Kwara State Arabic Board, Prof Mashood Jimba, Prof Katibi and regional editor of LEADERSHIP Newspapers, Alh Abdullahi Olesin, also graced the event.

In a brief sermon, Ustaz Abdullahi Katibi, stressed the importance of the study and recitation of the Holy Qur’an.

He enjoined Muslim parents to ensure that their children master the art of the Holy Qur’an, saying that’s more beneficial than the western education.

Mukadam Ibrahim Oniwiridi who administered the Walimatul Qur’an event, corroborated the guest lecturer on the imperative for the study of Qur’an by Muslims, old and young.
