Kwara Governor consoles families of deceased pilgrims

Kwara State Governor, Mallam Abdulrahaman Abdulrasaq has consoled with the families of the two Pilgrims who passed on during the just concluded 2023 Hajj exercise.

The first deceased Ambali Akewusola Abdulhamid of No: 44 Olufere Compound Alfa Yahaya Area who died on Board the Air Peace Aircraft from Ilorin International Airport to Saudi Arabia Kingdom for this year’s Hajj.

The second deceased was Mr Jimoh Bushari Alao of Ile Abogunloko Compound Oloje Area Ilorin.

The Management and the Staff of Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board yesterday paid unscheduled condolence visits to the families of the two deceased Pilgrims.

The State Governor represented by a team from the office of the Secretary to the State Government (SSG).

The Governor consoled with families of the deceased and encouraged to accept the sudden deaths of their loved ones as the will of Almighty Allah, and pray to Allah to grant the deceased Alijannah Firdaus.

The team was led by the Executive Secretary, Alh Abdulsalam Abdulkadir.

The team prayed to Allah to give the entire families of the deceased the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
