Kwara Governor’s Ally, Alaaya Assures Ubandawaki Community Of More Dividends Of Democracy

A university don and close ally of Kwara State governor, Dr Mohammed Ghali Alaaya has assured the people of Ubandawaki community in Ilorin West local government area of the state of more dividends of democracy.

He gave the assurance at the annual interactive session organised by Pakata Area Development Association (PADA) in Ilorin, the state capital on Saturday.

Alaaya who chaired the occasion praised the people of Ubandawaki for their patience with the Kwara State Government.

He listed the benefits that have accrued to the community from the administration of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq to include a Primary Health Care Centre, road infrastructure remodeling of schools ; amongst others.

He also acknowledged the appointment of Dr. Rabiat Shehu- Jimoh Alabere as Kwara State Focal person for the National Social Investment Programmes (NSIP).

Alaaya said Dr Rabiat remains a proud daughter of the community with impactful contributions to the people of the community.

Earlier, the chairman of Pakata Area Development Association (PADA), Alh Umar Solihu Babaoffa, had said the event was organised to thank Allah for His favour for the people of the area and to pray for sons and daughters of Pakata who had just been elevated in their places of work or appointed into public offices.

Babaoffa used the forum to highlight the achievements of PADA under his leadership.

Diginataries that graced the event included the immediate past Special Adviser on Strategy to Kwara State Governor, Alh. Saadu Salahu, Prof. Khadijat Raji Arowosaye, former president of Ilorin Emirate Development Union(IEDPU), Alh AbdulHamid Adi, Dr AbdulKadir AbdulgGaniy and Prof. Bako Alaaya; amongst others.
