Kwara PDP Local Government Congress Holds on Tuesday

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Kwara State chapter, hold its local government congress across the 16 local government areas on Tuesday 5th of October, 2021.


The State Publicity Secretary of the party, Tunde Ashaolu, disclosed this in a statement and urged party faithful to go out en masse to participate in the exercise to elect party officers at the local government levels to consolidate the successes recorded in the last Ward Congress across the 193 wards in the state.

“It is expected that Party members will conduct themselves in a peaceful and orderly manner like they did in the Ward Congress, whilst any form of grievances or disagreement will be resolved using the internal mechanism of the Party,” he added.
While expressing optimism that the congress would be hitch-free like the previous Ward Congress, Ashaolu assured that the Party’s internal mechanism are activated to resolve whatever issue that arises before, during or after the exercise”

He lauded the leadership of the party and most specially, the National Leader of the Party, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki for keeping to the promise of 30% youth and women inclusiveness in the leadership selection.


The Kwara PDP Publicity Secretary also encouraged existing and intending members of the Party to use the opportunity of the congress to complete their online membership registration that is currently ongoing across the state stressing that various public enlightenment materials are been deployed to educate the public on the process.
