Noticed Exactly a year ago, the vengeful government of Kwara primed their Lust for vengeance over the well-being of the very people they swore to serve and protect
Mr ‘One Chance’ Governor put the lives of over 2414 SUBEB teachers on hold and those of the ones connected to them.
In a country or state where unemployment is having a stronghold to its jugular, one would expect a ‘progressive’ minded Governor to provide more employment opportunities not take the jobs that were given just because you don’t like the previous administration.
When the 2414 SUBEB teachers got their employment letters, even words couldn’t describe their happiness, because they believe they can start to plan the good lives they’ve always dreamt of ,this is their chance at good life.
But unfortunately their aspirations and dreams came down crashing on them and they were left devastated as the news of their sacking came to their notice, as their lives do not matter to their own Governor.
I mean who wouldn’t be left devastated, as a matter of fact,It is really heart wrenching to learn that about the death of fourteen of the retrenched workers, many of who died from depression due to the great injustice done to them.
Governor Abdulrahman might not realize it but he didn’t just dash the hopes and expectations of the laid off workers but that of all the lives that are connected to them, their spouses, kids and acquaintances.
The new dawn is fast approaching, the brighter future they were deceived would happen, never happened. When they voted for this government, they thought it would be about promotion and minimum wages increments for the employed and new jobs for our teeming unemployed youth. But instead what we got is sacking of teachers and no employment creation.
This is not out of the blue but it quite painful, this is what a governor that was piggybacked into government with deception and propaganda definitely looks like, he has no plans or vision for the state ,just an unbridled Lust for power.
PDP is reminding all kwarans that 2023 is your chance to make a choice between a government that provided jobs for thousands of people and a government that callously took the jobs away from them.
To all the affected families and individuals, we want you to know that we identify with you and we believe together we can right the wrongs and injustice done to you and to the entirety of our state.
