KWSG Commends Tajudeen Olesin’s Consistent Support For Academic Excellence

    The Kwara State governor, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has commended Ambassador (Dr.) Ibrahim Tajudeen Olesin for his consistent support for the younger generation in their academic pursuit.

    Governor Abdulrahman made the commendation at the closing ceremony of the 2025 edition of Tajudeen Olesin Foundation’s ‘Summer Education Programme and the award of scholarship to the outstanding students’ held at the Amule Secondary School, Ilorin on Sunday.

    Represented at the event by the Special Adviser on Special Duties Alhaji Abdulrazaq Jiddah, the governor said “We are very proud of your consistent gesture towards the academic excellence of our future leaders, and to your community and state in extension, this is in line with our administration’s educational programmes.

    “We could recall that our students have been performing excellently in recent times in all their debates at the national and international levels and this is made possible by our administration’s investments in education.”

    In his remarks, a community leader and Senior Special Adviser and Counsellor to the governor, Alhaji Saadu Salahudeen lauded Tajudeen Olesin for possessing what he described as a passionate interest in community development and hailed his academic achievements that make him a rare gem in his field of profession

    “We are very proud of your academic achievements and your humble characters, you are indeed a shining light and worthy role model for the younger generations, we can thank you enough for all your contributions to the community and we pray to Allah to continue his blessings, guide and guard on you and preserve you for everlasting contribution for the development of our community, state and country in extension.”

    The award of scholarships was presented to 97 outstanding students from JSS one to SSS 3 with special gifts to 5 outstanding teachers.

    Dr Danjuma Mahmoud of the University of Ilorin, delivered a special sermon at the event with top dignitaries, ranging from government officials, community leaders and friends, parents of students, and other personalities numerous to mention.
