The candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Patigi Local Government area for the forthcoming council elections in Kwara State, Hon. Yahaya Salihu Gada has promised to bring good governance to the council if elected.
Gada, pledged this while canvassing for the support of the electorate in the areas ahead of the September 21st council elections.

Gada, a seasoned politician and veteran member of the PDP, emerged as the flagbearer of the party in the primary election held on the 27th of June, 2024 where he polled 159 delegate votes out of 195 across the ten political wards in the council.
