The Nigerian Spine Society (NSS) has extended warm congratulations to Prof. Wale Sulaiman, CON, Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council, Federal University of Health Sciences, Ila-Orangun, Osun State, on his recent appointment as Assistant Editor of the Neurotrauma Section of Neurosurgery Practice, one of the most prestigious neurosurgical journals in the world.
In a statement issued by its President, Dr. Misbahu Haruna Ahmad, the Society described the appointment as a well-deserved honor that underscores Prof. Sulaiman’s outstanding contributions to neurosurgery, clinical excellence, and medical research.
“This appointment is a testament to Prof. Sulaiman’s global recognition in neurosurgery and his dedication to advancing medical research and clinical practice. It brings pride and inspiration to the neurosurgical community in Nigeria and across Africa,” Dr. Ahmad said.
He added that the Nigerian Spine Society celebrates this achievement with Prof. Sulaiman and expressed confidence that his new role will further strengthen the practice of neurosurgery globally.
